Pee Wee Bit
NEW -- the PEE WEE
BIT from Australia, is a major breakthrough in bit design. It is light,
yet a great communicator to the mouth of the horse. The tongue slides under
the light and upward-curved unbroken snaffle bar. The queue for the horse to
turn right or left is a suttle pressure to the SIDE of the lower jaw -- not a
vice-like pressure to the corners of the mouth, common to many snaffles. The
horse will always turn away from that soft pressure, with his body naturally
following his head into the turn. (Bareback Indian riders hundreds of years
ago used the same principal, simply by tying a rope to the lower jaw of
their war horses. Reins were then attached to this rope.) The PEE WEE BIT is
extraordinarily versatile. Good for training young horses (and young
riders), yet in the hands of a professional, a horse can be taken to its
highest possible level of performance.
Sizes: pony, standard and warm blood.

Breeching
Our breeching has solid brass fittings and is made from high
grade leather, with the butt and croup sections felt lined. Ideal for mules and pack
horses. Breeching is almost always necessary when fitting mules, who
are "slab" sided. It will prevent the saddle from going over the shoulder of
the mule on a steep drop-off. There are horses that are also slab-sided, and
a breeching is a good idea for them as well, especially if they are wearing
a pack saddle. Colors black or brown. Solid harness leather, all fittings
solid brass with stainless steel tongues.
Price $119.00
