Long Oilskin Coat
Oilskin is the ONLY totally natural fabric that is waterproof. It was
invented over two centuries ago by Europeans travelling to Australia on the
open deck of sailing ships. They begged or borrowed expired canvas sails and
covered them in tar. They were waterproof and windproof. HOWEVER, things
have become more upscale. Modern oilskin are made of finely woven cotton
fabric that is treated with lanolin oil ( the stuff that keeps sheep dry)
beeswax and tree oils . The great thing about oilskin is it BREATHES. You do
not sweat, as you do in plastic. Cuts a cold wind dead, and keeps out rain.
The lining is wool serge. A horseman's dream.

Short Oilskin Coat
Our short oilskin coat has a hood that rolls up and snaps when not
used as a hood, then becoming a comforting collar. It has pockets as
shown, and is lined with serge. There is a waist pull-draw and
side-warmer pockets. Totally waterproof. This is finely woven cotton
treated with oils and beeswax, which makes it breathable. You don't
sweat, as you do in plastic! Great for wind and cold, great for storms.
Stay warm and dry. This coat can be re-proofed after several years (see
Maintenance Section).

Croc Guitar Strap
A crocodile guitar strap made from REAL crocodile (farmed, of course!) .
This "back strap" is approximately 54" in length, from head to tail, and 4
l/2" at its widest. Crocodile is extremely tough leather, so it needs no
backing. The strap comes with Original Jim Dunlop strap locks, to be placed
at either end, to best fit the wearer. Also supplied is a 3/8" leather punch
to house the Dunlop lock. Place the croc back on a block of wood, when the
correct position for the Dunlop lock has been identified, and then punch it
thru with a hammer for a clean, neat hole. This leather is so tough a
hand-held punch cannot work. It will most certainly outlast the guitar.
